The Thomas Training Center at Eagle Glacier

Eagle Glacier is a ten minute helicopter flight out of Girdwood, Alaska. Athletes have access to up to nine kilometers of twice daily groomed trails. The glacier is located at 1700m providing an optimal altitude for summer skiing. Conditions are very similar to those experienced racing in Central Europe in the winter and provides an excellent opportunity for skill and technique development. A fully equipped dormitory style house is where athletes live while not skiing. The Thomas Family has generously endowed a portion of the ski centers operations.
