Alaska Pacific University’s Early Honors Program is a dual credit option that enables talented and driven high school students to enjoy the best parts of their final year of high school while experiencing the first year of college life. The program allows students to earn transferable college credits and sets the foundation for their higher education future.

Early Honors students are eligible to train on either APUNSC’s University & Elite Team or the Junior Team depending on ambition and ability. Students may also have the opportunity to travel on race trips in winter and attend camps at the Thomas Training Center on Eagle Glacier in summer. We advise athletes with goals of skiing internationally to be part of the Early Honors program. Graduating with their high school class and then taking a gap year or continuing their undergraduate degree with APU while training, building race experiences and growing fitness at a high level. The Early honors program provides a unique opportunity to both train and attend classes in the best possible combination.
